Melissa Crabtree opens for Fiona Boyes near Byron Bay Austrailia

The Mullum ‘Pancha Sirsha’ Sessions is onSat. 6 April with sensational blues player Fiona Boyes headlining Fiona is well known in the U.S. and Europe for her deep knowledge of many blue styles and her guitar playing is soulful and exemplary.

and U.S. folkie Melissa Crabtree opening the evening Melissa is visiting our shores for the first time, playing festivals and gaining praise and recognition with every performance. She is also passionate about the natural world and is a Wilderness Guide.

The magnificent 26 acre property is located 8km out of Mullum, commanding sweeping views, which will take your breath away. Set up as a Buddhist Sanctuary (the name comes from a sacred place in China, meaning “Five Peak Mountains”) it has always been the intention of the owners to welcome musicians to play live.

From Mullumbimby, turn into Left Bank Road, drive 5km (passing Shearwater), then left into Yankee Creek Road and follow right to the end 1.5km. 140 Yankee Creek Road It’s the last property. Follow the sealed driveway and take right fork after the cattle grid to the “Shed”. Park on the grass beside the building and walk down to The Blue House.
